Passage Arts, 845 S. Trunk Ave., is a historic industrial warehouse situated between Fair Park and downtown Dallas. Built in 1919 as a manufacturing facility, it features a 7,500 square foot exhibition area with a 28-foot ceiling height and original clerestory windows. The property encompasses 1.08 acres, including a 1,500 square foot courtyard for outdoor installations, events and programs.

We are currently organizing the most significant exhibition of James Surls's career—some 25 monumental sculptures, including major suspended works and drawings, with a public opening on September 19.
